I sent him an e-mail asking if he still offered his modified Spencer molds and never heard back. Anyone know if he still making them and or if he is OK?

Anybody with a mill or a lathe with a 4 jaw chuck can cut the Lee mould down for you. I did mine with a lathe.

Drill out the crimp holding the pins in and let the pins drop out.
Remove the sprue plate.
Chuck it up and turn it down.
Thread the hole for the sprue plate screw deeper - I also made a relief cut in the handles because the screw extends past the handles.
Reinstall the sprue plate.
Cast bullets.

Do you already have the mold? IIRC, Dakota Widowmaker was charging $55, shipped, for the modded mold, including the price of the mold, and it is currently available from Midway. What I'm getting at is if you don't already have it, it will be cheaper for me to order one (or more if other people want one), mod it, and ship it out to you, rather than buy one, send it to me for the mod, then have me send it back.

I received the mold today, did the mod, and should have it on the way back to you tomorrow. Your mold isn't what DW (and myself) have been modding, but it should work ok.
