Anyone use either of these guns?  If so, what has your experience been with them as far as accuracy and durability?

Virginia Gentleman,

I have two of the 7.5 and they have been great.  Accuracy is good if I do my part and pay attention to the front sights, one problem with the head spaceing on one gun and it was fixed as soon as it was brought to their attention.  Been shooting them for a year and other then the head spacing problems that has been it.  I have been very happy with them.

This is good to hear as I have gotten spotty reports on EMF as a whole, but if they stand behind their product and make it right then they are worth a look.

Virginia Gentleman,

As I live fairly close to EMF, I took the pistol to them with the problems I encounted, they checked it out and fixed it on the spot while I waited.  I do not think that it gets any better then that.  I have been very happy with the purchase of their firearms.

I bought an EMF Model 1875 "Outlaw" model at a gun show.  Used, but was in new condition.  It is one of the most accurate single action revolvers I own.  I paid $450 for it.  I think it was a good deal.
Same day, same gun show, I bought an EMF New Dakota model with 7.5 inch barrel in cal. 44-40, also used.  The previous owner had a real nice action job done on it.  I paid $475 for it.   It is my favorite Colt clone that I own.  I own one other EMF.  I have no complaints with any of them.

Once upon a time, last February I picked up my first 1875 from EMF. Had a bit of rubbing between the forcing cone and the cylinder face. Sent gun back and it was fixed and returned in ten days. How does it shoot? Its a tack driver and I have nothing bad to say about the gun or the service. Just picked up a second one so I won't be out of balance on the range. Second one looks great, will be putting the lead though her this week when the rain stops. ;D

I had an EMF 1890 Remington but it was a lemon so I got rid of it. Every time I shot it something needed to be fixed or adjusted.
