There are a number of possible designs for the S&W DA .38 revolver series. I don't have photos, but have seen plain, sort of slim jim style with or without a retention strap that buttons over a small stud. Generally these have a stitched 'round toe that is formed out to fit the muzzle and front sight, NOT a plug end. The belt loop is simply an extension of the body, folded over and stitched on the back side. I have also seen holsters that were similar, but were on the Mexican loop style pattern. I've seen several of this type of gun that were issued to railroad express agents and railroad police.
Ride to the sound of the guns, but watch out for bushwhackers! Godspeed to all in harm's way in the defense of Freedom! God Bless America!

Rick,
I gots one of them also. Use it sometimes in side matches. Would like to have a bushel basket full of them.

Chuck,
I like how the gun looks like it sits crooked in that first mexican holster. Really catches my eye. Nicely done.

Chuck, can I ask what you used to decorate the first belt. It is differen than the other belts that used more of the rounded spot. The one on the first is real flat.
