So how do y'all think this will hold up against the Ruger New Vaquero?

Wow !

I like it. I think Ruger fan boys just pooped their pants.

Truthfully, this is definately going to give Ruger a run for the money. The coil hammer spring, the capability to load all 6 rounds safely, and the look and feel of the original Colt is going to be a big hit I believe.

What's not to like? Darn near a dream gun. Uberti is really thinking smart.

EDIT:

I might add that I have the Beretta Stampede which is nearly the same - with the exception of the Horseman's coil spring. The Uberti / Beretta revolver is far simpler in its mechanics than the Ruger, and virtually  no possibility of the transfer bar breaking like the Vaquero ( i.e., Ruger Vaquero transfer bar pinch - Google it ).

The Beretta / Uberti transfer bar is superior to the Ruger. And now it has a hammer coil spring.

Sold.

Have shot a lot of Ruger's over the last 20+ years of Cowboy shooting . They worked for me , in the Pre Vaquero era we would take blackhawks and have the adjustable sight  removed .   they were loved because they were considered the toughest gun on the market . Why , because of the coil spring .

Be interesting to see if Uberti copied Richard's (AWA) coil spring assembly.
