Thanks very kindly.  You won't see me here often, If I tried to do leatherwork I would sew my hands to a table.  It is likely they'd be nicely Dyed though . . .

Kind of surprised to see this thread still going. This weekend at a Trade fair I picked up a big enough piece of suede hide. Now that I'm retired, I'll be able to get going on this pretty soon. Thanks again to all of you for your help.
