N-SSA Approval for Dixie's Spencer Carbine

I see Dixie's Spencer carbine, I believe made by Armi Sport, is not N-SSA approved. I know the .56-50 would be correct -- has anyone gone through the approval process to see what modifications are needed, or if qualification for N-SSA use is even possible?

Eggman,

Armi Sport imports their Spencer Carbines to a number of dealers in the USA, to include, Dixie Arms.

It was my understanding that all Armi Sport Spencer Carbine (no matter which USA dealer they go to) are approved for use by N-SSA.  However, the Spencer Rifle was not approved for use by N-SSA, and needs specific modification (mentioned in the link/thread below).
