I just bought a used pietta 1858. It was manufactured in 1990 and allegedly used very little. It does look brand new. The cylinder pin is firmly stuck tight, no wiggle at all.  I don't want to hit it with a hammer or force it.  Any ideas? Thanks.

Does the cylinder turn"

Yes, the cylinder turns fine. Hammer, trigger, everything else seems O.K.

Mystery solved. The previous owner said it hadn't been fired(by her deceased husband) in over 20 yrs. Although it looks beautiful on the outside, the pin was rusted in.  I took a wooden dowel and hit it with a hammer a few times. Now I need to take the whole thing apart and clean it thoroughly.
Now for my next question. My eyes aren't what they used to be. I used a wrong screwdriver and  mangled one of those soft metal screws. Where can I get replacement screws? Thanks.
