Well I was told to sew this on but I hate to sew . I noticed the patch has the same backer as the iron-on patches at Walmart. So I followed the iron-on patch directions -- preheated the application spot on my Confederate vest with a hot iron for 40 seconds, placed the patch on the vest, then again placed the hot iron on it for 45 seconds, and walla!! the patch is on-- seems very secure.
