November 11 is veterans' Day. Lots of places are doing great things for Vets and
active duty military. Applebee's and Hooters have free food. Those are only two that I
know of, but there are many more. Look around.

If you are a vet, or know a vet, get the word out. I'll be in Las Vegas at my daughter's
wedding, but the whole wedding party...about 15 people...is planning on going to
Applebee's between the ceremony and the official dinner later in the evening.

Hey, two birds, one stone. What can I say? Free food is free food.

Hey! Confederates were Vets too!
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Went to Souplantation with wife, daughter, son-in law.  Don and I are both vets, Angela had a free meal for buying a $50.00 gift card and my wife paid full price.  Four meals for the price of one.

Tomorrow we'll pillage Denny's for breakfast and see what's left for lunch and supper.
