Hello!  I'll put this in the classified section, but I wanted to let people here know first.  I've got an 1870 Springfield Navy Rolling Block rifle in .50-70 for sale.  (I've decided I like shooting my 1868 Trapdoor better!)  The Rolling Block shows a lot of dings in the stock, but it's got a pretty nice bore and it shoots really well.  I put a reproduction rear sight on it, and replaced some of the screws.  I will include the original broken rear sight and the original screws if you want them.  This rifle is a great shooter!  I've got more pictures if you're interested.  I need $1200 out of it.  Thanks!

Sounds like you two might have a trade worked out. Now the General just needs to deliver it to Nebraska...say, the middle of next July??  ::)
