and as a postscript, the  LA Times has an article talking about the "terrors on the forers" here at East Fork. they lumped the prospectors in with the pot growers/smokers, dumb folks here to mess up the place with feces and dirty diapers etc. They even said the prospectors were hostile and confrontational. (of course I would be that way too if they just ticketed me for "defacing the forest" by panning for gold, and they let them folks leaving buckets of trash and crap all over...

Freedom is getting slim these days.

Tulare county tried to legalise growing but Humbolt county threw in alot of money to get it not to pass becuase they didn't want the competittion.They been bustin growers here and in Fresno county and the desert areas like crazy,they warehouse the stuff and where it goes from there is anybodys guess.I mean the police and feds are harvesting it and baggin it up man!They had a whole process thing goin on in Fresno Chelyhopters,boxes,trailors,tractors,plastic wrap,makes ya wonder
