Guns and Ammo recently did an article on the Kahr Arms Semi Auto Thompsons, M1927A1 and TM1 authored by Gary James (a good gunwriter).  Of course there was not mention of the AZSA or our use of the Thompson in competition. I politely pointed this out in the comments, here is your chance to chime in or disagree.   

Here is my comment: I was dissapointed that Mr. James, an excellent gunwriter, omitted the Thompson's use in competition by the American Zoot Shooters Association. The AZSA is a costume action shooting sport that focuses on the 1920 to 1950 era. The Thompson is the centerpiece of this sport, however many other historical weapons are used as well. The 2012 world championship featured a wide array of classic firearms and I'm sure Mr James would have enjoyed himselt greatly.

Thanks for the heads up.  I just purchased the issue (because of the cover) and was in hopes that the AZSA would get some exposure in the article.
