I'm trying to find a target load for my 32-40. I've been shooting BP and a 165 g cast bullet. Looking to try some of that new fangled smokeyless using the same bullets. (Got lots of them.) Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Ruger #3 converted to 32-40. It was capable of bench groups under 1 inch @ 100metres.  I don't have my recipe file here but I think you might find a good load from the Schuetzen folks.  4227, 4759, 4198, or maybe 2400.  Some references show newer powders in similar burn rates.
