Not shooting related, but if anyone has had problems finding a blacksmith to make gear, here is your chance to meet a few of them:

This shop is owned by some very good friends of mine and is on the Kansas and US Historical Register.

I enjoyed the event, the food, and the blacksmith shop. I have never seen a shop that was so complete. It truly looked
like stepping back into time when you walked thru the shop doors. Never before have I seen NOS parts ready to be fabricated
into wagon wheels. The plant one cylinder engine was a hoot to watch as well as the rest of the machinery. I am very pleased
that the shop is under restoration and not scattered as antiquties to the four points of the compas.

It was also good to finally meet you.

Next year we'll do it again the 3rd weekend in August, everyone is welcome, a good time in the day, and a couple camp fires to hang around in the evening, even better, one of the few places I go where we have a modern rest room and not an outhouse.  I will get some pictures up later this week.
