ACCURATE # 5744

WELL WORD AROUND THE NORTH EAST IS THAT ACCURATE IS GOIN TO STOP MAKING THE 5744 .
ANY ONE HEARING THAT ??

If they do, I hope that they replace it with an even better product.

I use it in my 45-70s and 50-70s when I'm not shooting BP. Used to use 3031, but I get the same or better out of 5744 with less powder.

Do not know if they are going to stop making it... It was selling for 8lbs at $165.58 ... but recently they BUMPED the price for 8lbs of the stuff up to $183.99 ... $18.41 increase that is a hell of a jump.  It is good powder...but it ain't THAT GOOD!

How does 5744 compare to SR4759. I just got enough SR4759 to last me out and in NZ we cant get 5744.

Using SR4795 in my 45-60 and 45-70.
