I was looking at buying a Blakeslee Cartridge Box one of the $99 dollar ones, "all I can afford after buying the Spencer" But then I ran across this style of Bandoleer on E-bay but for a 45-70. I e-mailed the the maker and ask if he could make one in 56-50, well he did and here it is. I know it is not an Original Historical Item . I guess you could call it a possibles bag with shell loops. But it looked like it would suit my needs better than a Blakeslee Box. Since I don't reenact and I don't need to speed load. The Blakelee box looked like it would be heavy loaded down with Cartridges. This distributes the weight better and hold 57 cartridges in the loops and with the bag I can carry whatever. Plus it was Cheaper and Made In America. Sorry about the pictures My daughter has my good camera!!!!!!!!  Also posted a picture of the S.S.S sticker on the back Glass of my Trooper. Made my old Trooper look Good. ;D

Sharps1863,

Thanks for the interesting Possibles Bag post - could you Email me the photos?  At fsgrand2@fairpoint.net.  Who made the possible bag? Maybe other members would like to know. Maybe too many loops?  I would rather keep the weight down.  Still a pretty interesting idea.  Why the two tones leather?  Just curious.

WOW :o :o :o  Where did you get that Spencer Shooting Society Window Decal ::) ::)?  That looks terrific on your vehicle ;)
