Color guard for Hell on Wheels

Attention troops!  The Hell on Wheels SASS regional is just over a week away and it is time to get organized for the opening ceremonies.  For many years now GAF has provided the color guard for this event and we're looking forward to performing that function again this year.  If you're going to be there and are available to serve in the color guard on Friday morning, please let me know.  We'll try to have a brief organizational meeting Thursday afternoon and be set up and ready to go for the opening ceremonies early Friday morning.  We'll need our uniforms and military carbines, rifles or sabers.  Please respond here, pm me or e-mail me if you can be there.

I sure hope you got some recruits [or draftees] for the Color guard.  I see there are no replys yet.  I have been on a few there.  I can't this match.  I'm still at Ft Riley.

I deeply regret that due to family obligations I will be unable to attend HOW, nor to participate in the color guard this year. Hopefully, next year.

We did the color guard this morning.  Thanks largely to the efforts of Department of the Platte Northern District commander Wretched excess the group was in place and ready to go.  Will have pix and details posted early next week once I get home and recover from the match.
