Last weekend I was at a get-together/shoot for members of the British Militaria Forums .... and while I was there some horse-trading went on.  I disposed of some "extra" rifles - a Canadian-marked Snider-Enfield Short Rifle (one of three of that particular version I had) and a non-Canadian-issue Martini-Henry rifle.)

In exchange, I got some cash (which I used to purchase a .310 Australian-issue small-frame Cadet rifle from another participant .... but that is different story ....) and this absolutely lovely antique-status Webley WG Army Model revolver, still in its original .455/.476 chambering -

Most of the original finish remains, and the bore is shiny and pristine!  I expect this may become my primary-use revolver for GAF shooting.  It is too late to get it added to my current Form 6NIA ...... but I hope to bring it along to the Missouri Muster anyway, since it is an "antique" on both sides of the border.  (I had no trouble bringing along my newly acquired Webley-Pryse revolver for the National Muster last fall, in similar circumstances.)
