Nice flag pole.  Nice powder horn.   :)
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

Not my pole, just have one of those things for the porch.  This one is out to The Grand Army of the Frontier, Department of the Missouri's range near Sargent Nebraska.  (AKA Pitspiter's pasture.)

Don't forget the Department of the Missouri Muster July 13-15 at the same place.

Not mine but still really neat. I'm up in ND for work and was on the way to a drilling rig. I saw this on the side of the road and decided to stop and take a look. It's Ft Union and is owned by the US Forest Service. The whole fort was very neat!

Not sure if the center pole is just a lookout post or a flagpole. It did have a block and rope so I assume it's for a flag. Either way it was very neat.

This is the flagpole and blockhouse at British Camp, San Juan Island National Historic Park - one of the only places in the United States (other than embassy and consular locations) where the British flag is flown daily:

The person standing near the blockhouse, and the following photo, give an idea of the size of the pole and flag:

Mind you, the pole and flag at American Camp seem to be the same size:

(I got this image off the internet, so I have no idea why the flag is flying at half mast ....)

This is what I have.

The Standard flies 365.

Guidon flies on important days.  IE: D Day, Flag Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Halloween (Nevada's Admission Day), etc.

With that title, I was about to post that you could get arrested for indecent exposure! But, having seen the photos, I think those are great ways to display national colors.
Ride to the sound of the guns, but watch out for bushwhackers! Godspeed to all in harm's way in the defense of Freedom! God Bless America!
