I'm going to be in the Orlando area this week with some spare time on my hands. I'm looking for gun stores that have a good selection of period rifles, levers, single shot, etc. Also reproductions...Uberti, Pedersoli etc.

Any suggestions?

I've have not been in for some time .
Not sure what Big Mike has beyond the listings on the web.

But when Rchard Griffus owned it he had some really cool stuff , he sold the Business about 4 years ago.
He's still around but sells on GB , and may be in 2 times a month.

Anyway here is the map, away further North on the same road is "Shoot Straight" Store & ID range (mostly black guns though)

On ocassion Oakridge Gun Store & ID Range will have something and then the Reig's ( these are mosly Black Guns too)

Over Melbourne way there is Ammo Attic....

Glad to see they are still in business, Major! I stopped in there back in 82 when I went back in the Navy. Was stationed in Jacksonville for ten years and never made it back...

I visited Buffalo Bills. Great folks but not many firearms and only a few rifles.

But they did have a Beretta 1873 in like new (might actually be unused). Can't remember if it was 45LC or 44-40. They were asking $1300

Yes Sir,  Big Mike is affable but it's not the place it was.... :(

Drayton, it's not in the same location anymore, just down from the the Navy Training Center which closed in 1995.
You would not beleive that place either.... all gone, completely torn down and Condos & apt.s replaced it.

Richard Griffus sold the shop on Corrain, and Mike moved it to N. Mills Ave. so it's about 2 miles away.
Where once there was wall of Muzzleloaders and a goody number of CAS rifles and glass counters full of
C&B revolvers, Rugers & Uberties, now at the new location you may find two or three guns.
I was last in about  18 months ago , as Mike was my recieving FFL and I picked up my 73 short rifle.

Once, you could go in and there'd be 3-4 or more pards and/or reenactors hanging out, you could spend a few blissful hours
bench racing as it were.
Hell, get there just before Lunch and Richard might buy you lunch.
I bought, sold and swapped many a gun with them.

Jeez, all gone now? I went to boot camp in Orlando in 75 and went back in in 82, that was the last time I was in Buffalo Bill's. I guess we have to accept it.

BRAC was a boon for developers, those pesky military installations on prime real estate...
