Hi,

I got to see her May 6th in Lodi .  Her latest song, Yakima, comes in automatically on her website ... just have your speakers on your computer on ... and her website is:

http://www.junifisher.net/

I really enjoyed her concert ... so much so that I plan to see her the next time she comes near ....her tourdates are on the website

By now I would suspect  that there was some kind of kickback ... I assure you I get nothing from this but the pleasure of knowing that others will enjoy her as much as I did ...

Obviously a very talented lady!  Her voice and style kind of reminds me of that gal in the movie "Chrystle", (played by a gal who's last name was Blount), co-starring with Billy Bob Thornton.  Lots of good music in that film but kind of a wierd movie.  I liked it.   8)

Danny,

If you go to her website and click on the last item, an entire concert (almost) that was recorded by SCTV can be watched.

And I think her humor is as good as her singing ...

TTFN,

P.S. There are many of her songs on You Tube ... just do a search on their website for Juni Fisher ...

I really like the one she sings with Joe Hannah of Sons of the San Juaquin,i really wished they would play this style of music on the radio more,it's kind of a niche music, but  growin up around the Sons and thier kids around here sometimes you don't apreciate it like ya should when your younger. They use to have a burger place that we went to all the time, and they still have a trucking company about ten miles east of here.It was just part of everyday livin around here and ya think it's just normally gonna be around forever, sort of like Roy Rogers :-\

Rick,

My mother was from a small town about halfway between  San Antonio and the Mexican Border.... I know what you mean ... I grew up on that music ... I thought it was pretty well dead until I heard Asleep at the Wheel and The Sons of the San Joaquin...not to mention Junie Fisher....
