Being a Winchester fan has made me begin to like the Musket's . At first I could not even think I would ever want one . I guess like they say It kinda grows on ya. But I still admit they are so ugly their cool. Almost bought a very nice genuine 1873 3rd mod. Musket and the sticker that goes with it but , didnot . Still regret it today. Looking at the original and the repro side by side you gotta admit Uberti does a hullova job.

Yeah, the only difference I notice is the rear of the reciever at the wrist looks a little bit "thicker". Or maybe the Uberti just has the flat area on the sides a bit larger, while the origional is more rounded.
