Every time I'm in line at the grocery store and some guy is in line with flowers and it ain't Mother's Day or Valentine's Day I look at him very serious (yes I can do it) and ask, "What did you do bad?"  About half the time they say it's a birthday or anniversery about a third of the time they tell me what they did bad and the rest say "you would't belive it." ;D ;D ;D ;D

If they don't have 4X2's go ahead and get the 2X4's and turn them sideways, most pro-fess-in-al's won't do this though because it is a sign of sloppy workmanship/workwomanship. ;D  (Who says I ain't polly-it-ick-alley correct.) :D

And while I am at it, Del, I'll be sure to pick up a left handed screwdriver.

Is you left handed, Miz Annie? If you aren't, it won't work......Buck 8) ::) :-\ ;D
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Joyce (AnnieLee)

Aye, left-handed, Buck, except when shooting.

Back when I was a tech for the Air Force, when it was time to issue my tools to me, I asked the supply sergeant to order me a set of left handed screwdrivers. He searched through supply catalogues for two days, looking for them.

Heh, heh, heh,

They were on Page 357 right above spools of flight line.

When I was in missile suppot one of my Sergeants sent a young agent to base electronic supply for a dozen fallopian tubes.  How was he to know that the brand new CO was a woman major who had been born without a gene for humor.

Thank you, BJD, they're so CUTE!!

Back in the days before computers, my dad worked with a bunch of engineers. The new secretary was just getting settled in when Dad asked her to find him a set of atomic weights. He told her he had loaned his to one of the other guys in the plant. She took off to go ask the guy for them. Dad didn't call him to tell him she was on her way, he decided to see how it played out. That guy told her a third man had taken them for use. And so it went. Each of the geeks sent her to someone else. Some of them really got into it, telling her stories about how they were supposed to be returned, feigning anger, some feigning regret that they allowed someone else to borrow them and not returning them. She spent the entire day looking for those weights before someone clued her in.

She refused to talk to my dad for a month.

:D   ;D

Del, you should know that even though it is my birthday, you are treading into skillet territory.

Hey AnnieLee, since you're a year older now you might want to raise your attitude some.
