Puter question

I got a new puter for xmas.HP Pavillion that was supposed to have windows 7 in it,but all it has is part of 7 from what i can tell.Does anyone know how to get rid of the pop ups that pop up from windows,or why do i have two tabs when i click on a photobucket link when i want to see someone picture?Two tabs come up,then i have to clear one so i can hit the back button,this is the most annoying computer i ever had...

My only advise on Win 7 is read the help files until you understand it. Now if you came from an XP system you will find it mind numbing at first however if you came from Vista it should seem like a step up. I know I came to Win 7 Professional (several different versions though much can be downloaded for free that you might not of gotten) from XP and managed to stay away for Vista but have some experience with it. Within a short time you will come to find the advantages of Win 7 over previous versions even though it does take some control away it really is a simpler way to do what you used to do. I've actually have come to really like it and had the same reaction you did when I first got it. Win 7 also runs software from XP that Vista would choke on so there is one advantage and I'm still learning it myself and don't know exactly which version but from what you stated you are talking about Windows Internet Explorer which to me is still buggy so I also use Firefox and Chrome both free downloads especially to view PDF and pictures.

Thanks pard,i did come from XP.Seem like i have to do alot more clickin than i used to like when i put a photo on photobucket,i hit upload it goes to library then pictures,click the picture then it uploads,if i do another it goes through the same process when before it would go right back to the pics. When i browse that stupid"do you want to see secure or all  window.

Had 7 on my first puter and it was awsome,then i got one with XP loved it,then they did an auto update and took it away and gave me 8 which was lousy,then ya had to buy 7 for 200.00  Now i get this new one that was supposed to have 7 but not worth a fidely fart!

My Annie `O`s got Win 7 and she luvs it I tried it several times and I still HATE it I`m hanging onto XP Pro `till its wrenched from my fingers!!

My brother is the same way,the more buttons the more he likes it,my folks were to poor to get Ritilin when i was growin up
