OK, I'm deep in my research, working on ways to make coffee in the 19th Century, there are some good, there are some that are bad, but this one is a a definite no.

But I thought I would show it, just in case anyone here likes really bad tasting coffee.

(BTW the fish skin here is not a cowboy yellow slicker, but a real piece of fish skin used to settle the grounds, and after boiling that long they are going to need settled.)
