This is part 2 of a three part series comparing the performance characteristics of various projectiles shot from a Colt style 1860 Army cap and ball revolver. In this series we will measure the accuracy, velocity and muzzle energy and penetration of round ball versus conical bullets. Part 2 will consist of the performance test of 220-grain conical bullets.

I notived this time you were not so close for the penetration test. A quick learner! Life is fun. I can get the conicals into my Hartford model ASM 1860 Army but not a Pietta. The Remingtons are no problem for the conicals. That 3rd bullet looks like a nice "thumper". Can't wait.

Since I have 14+ guns, I've been called the Imelda Marcos of Cap&Ball. Now, that's a COMPLIMENT!
