44WCF and Pedersoli Lightning

I recently purchased a Cimarron (Pedersoli) Lightning in 44WCF and just this week added a Marbles tang sight to it.  I took it out to a friends ranch today and hung a target at 25 long paces to sight it in "good enough" for next weeks SASS match.  Now keep in mind that all I did was take a field rest with my arm on top of a fence post.  What I got was a 5-shot group of 3/8"!   The load is the DD Mav Dutchman with 32 grains by weight of Goex FFg and a Winchester Large Pistol primer in Starline brass.

After I get a shorter post for the Marbles so I can lower the sights enough, I'm going to have to take this rifle to the range and see what it can do at 100 yards and beyond.

That is way better than minute of cowboy metal plate!

That wil be a viable hunting arm when you getting it shooting to point of aim! Fill that freezer.
