Back in the day before I switched to black powder, I almost exclusively used Bear Creek moly coated bullets for reloading foe CAS.  Even after I switched exclusively to black around 1999-2000, I would always load some Bear Creek smokeless loads for side matches and team events. When I started using Triple 7 for BP loads around 2004, I went back to Bear Creek bullets. Sadly, when I moved back east in 2007, Bear creek was not convenient, so I just procured locally.

Having now just moved back to Grass Valley, CA, I decided to see if my local source for Bear Creek still had them.  HE DID! Tens of thousands of bullets in almost every conceivable caliber!  His prices are not marked up, but straight off the Bear Creek price list.  Needless to say, a box of 500 went home with me.

Stick a lube cookie behind them and they do fine with BP as well

True.  I loaded some with a wonder wad that was saturated with a 70/30 beeswax/crisco mix.  They worked fine
