Digital cameras - question for the Marshal

One thing that I have always noticed about CasCity, is you always have very good photography.
Who does the photgraphy for you and Marshal'ette and what kind of camera is being used?
I recently spent over $300 for a new digital camera, have used it some, but thinkin' I still like my Nikon EM better. Seems to take sharper pictures.

Howdy Rio,

Marshal'ette and I use cameras in the 3-400 dollar range. Mine is a Olympus Camedia taking 3.2 megapixel images. Marshal'ette is using a Nikon Coolpix in 4.3 megapixel.

These are cameras bought 2-3 years ago and you probably have a camera with at least the capability of  ours.

The "big secret" with pictures we put on the website is the enhancement tools we use. Photoshop is the software I use, but software is standard extra with most cameras these days. You can sharpen pictures, resize, crop, change color balance, brightness, contrast and much much more.

Mark Quigley is the expert on taking CAS pictures with both 35mm and digital and he also has some very good tips on taking pictures in the two last issues of The Cowboy Chronicle. I might be able to convince him to give us here in Cas City a few extra tips as well.

Ours is a 5.0 megapixel Canon. I guess I need to get the book out and read it.
My son has Adobe Photoshop on my computer, but I haver never used it. I'll have to get him to tutor me on it.
If you could get Quigley to give us some pointers, that would be very cool!
