Pettifogger left out one mistake I did in a match:
You will draw the gun you just fired earlier in the stage and think you forgot to cap it, reholster and take the 5 missesonly to discover at the unloading table the gun you never drew is still loaded. DOH!!

Since I have 14+ guns, I've been called the Imelda Marcos of Cap&Ball. Now, that's a COMPLIMENT!

I also load any five chambers. It takes what...three seconds to swab out the sixth chamber when I clean the gun?

I always clean all six chambers regardless. Everything gets covered in B-P fouling even of you don't put a charge into a chamber, I can't believe that you don't clean it.

I do what I do to keep it simple, why force myself through a learning process that is still not fail safe?  I do not want my reminder to come in the middle of a large expensive match and have it turn out costing me positions.  I agree with the idea that I do not want one particular chamber to always be the one, but my method actually prevents that on a match to match basis as nothing is actually marked.
