I have a 70 series Marlin 336 in 35Rem.  This is my go to rifle when walking & stalking through the woods. I`ve been hand casting a 225gr. RNFP for a while now. I am in no way over pressure with this round but it does have a bit of recoil. I`ve been having issues with the forearm backing out of the reciever. Now all i`ve been doing is, after a few shots I just push it back in and keep shooting. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and maybe a fix. Also, i`ve replaced the barrel band screws since I noticed them being bent after taking the forearm off to maybe figure out a way to stop this.

It could be the wood has shrunk with age. Does it fit loose in the receiver? If so try wrapping the lip of the wood with plumbers Teflon tape to snug it up a little. Looks weird but will give you a little "bite" to hold the fore end in place.
