What will it be?

Massive, the tension device that Bianchi used in your Chapman 'High Ride" is one I do not like. It is the bottom screw on the back side and it presses the liner against the back of the pistol slide near the bottom.  I tend to think that these metal lined holsters were actually easy to tension without added devices and would leave the screw backed out.  A slight squeese and test method makes them tighter and a one inch broom stick opens it up, do either in small baby steps and find the sweet spot for you.  I prefer tension screws with all leather models and prefer those that actually compress the full thickness of the holster front to back.  Kirkpatrick has done a lot of holsters like this and his newest Long Hunter style has a screw at the trigger guard you might like to look at.

Mine has a weird shape hemispherical ball that catches on the trigger gaurd.

I would love to get a hold of one of these. About 10 years ago I found one at a LGS. I could have picked it up for $25.00! I passed as it was at a table at the entrance and I had the enitre show to look. Kicking myself now.

I thought they were called the pistolero.

Duke, is that rubber bulb missing on both?  It looks somewhat similar to a lawn mower priming bulb and goes in the large hole on the rear..  Looks like you have both versions of the holster and mag pouches.   I will be shooting tomorrow but hope to get back to the holster next week.

It's hard plastic screwed onto a dogleg piece of spring steel. I only own the one in the pictures with the new belt I made.
The others are stock pics from ebay.

This is not my belt but it's my holster. Belt pictured was made by Freedom a member here. I made the other belt

Don't forget the welt is 1/4" thick in the holster Bob.

Thanks Duke, The piece I added was a solid 12+ but will not know much more about fit until I work out the sight channel mould. Got a how-to friend who is trying to help out with a couple of ideas for forming the channel.

Still waiting and have not forgotten this.  I did take an extra photo of the back but am still waiting on that mould.  I do believe that this pattern was a bit oversized but can not confirm it until the mould arrives.  Since no metal is inside this one I am thinking about doing a good hot water soak and warm air drying in hopes the sight track will hold.

The four holes can be seen and when it is wet the drop portion will have to get a really pronounced Z fold.  Later guys.

PS: The Chapman 'High Ride', mentioned in an earlier post, is an excellent choice for those who have asked about making this holster without any drop.
