Annie how about long range pumpkin carving as mentioned before.  I don't know how you did it but you get two pistols loaded with 5 rounds each to shoot at the pumpkin.  Shoot a face in and at the end of the match have a jack-o-lantern judging.   ;D

That's one...still formulating the other but it involves a shotgun.   :o

I've been leaning toward a "Great Pumpkin" shoot, but would CAS mix with Charlie Brown and Linus?

Next question. ;D  good idea for a fun match, but as soon as you have it at a match it ain't plinkin'. ;D ;)

I also had a though, some folks have no place they can plink and have fun with out a range officer whoopin' on them.  Let's have a moment of silence for those poor deprived folks. :'( ::)

Ok lets have the rest of us go out and have fun but be safe.  I got one that is fun, but unless you have a very safe place you can't do it.

But it involves dragon flies and 22 semi-auto's. :o ;D ;)

The fruit of the Maclura pomifera tree of the mulberry family. ;D  Also know as Osage Orange among other names, the inedible fruit is like a giant softball sized hard mulberry and explode when shoot with a high powered rifle. ;D ;D ;D ;D

If ya shoot them with a 22, they bleed yucky white sap. ;D ;D

We have a small pond that you used to could see the dam from 100 yards west of it 30 years ago when it was built.

Today you can't even see the west side from the top.  There is a jungle of hedge trees, all planted by Johnny Hedgeapple Seed and his high powered rifles. ;D    (The seeds are about the size of and do look like an orange seed. ;D)

I went out after verk yesterday with my OM Super Blackhawk and 200gr Nitro CAS loads to the field behind the house, which was just planted in winter wheat. I didn't setup a target, just aimed about halfway down the field (350-400 yards). I squeezed out a couple rounds and watched the dust fly. I shoot again and the boolit bounced a couple times. Kewl! I got it to do up to 3 bounces (4 dust clouds). It was like skipping stones on a pond. Sometimes it would bounce 10-20 yards and other times it would bounce 50+ yards. This entertained fer about 30 minites 'fore it got too dark and the skeeters started biting. Yes, I'z easily entertained.  :D
