New Remington Replica Defect(?)

I bought a nearly new, 5 shots fired I think, Uberti Remington 'Outlaw' replica. It's a Stoeger. Today I got to shoot my new gun. The cylinder is just short enough that it would not work with WW factory 255 gr RNL bullets. It really surprised me. I only had 2 of these rounds and was shooting a mix of ammo I happened to have lying around. I normally shoot a 200 gr LRNFP from Renegade Boots in Boerne, Texas. These worked fine. I did shoot a couple of WW ST and these worked fine too.  I'll measure this cylinder against my Colt replicas and see what the difference is. Anyone else have this problem?
I threw the RN ammo away, I guess I should have measured to see it it was my gun or just that ammo? It could have been out of spec I guess?

This has been brought up before here I'm sure........
The 1875 clones have a "short" cylinder. Actually the earlier ones were approx 1.53" and the newer ones are 1.55".

Some of the factory loaded 45 Colt ammo will exceed that.
Most "Cowboy" loads will not.

Nice pistols though.........does yours have a "pinched post" front sight or a "sail" type like a Colt SAA?

I'm pushing a 200 gr bullet at 925 fps.
I shot in poor light so I'll try again later.
If I just use this gun for CAS the sights won't matter.
If I decide to carry it then I'll need to do something.

I you can hit a cas target then you can hit an attacker. Now if your talking about hunting then you need to do alot.

FWIW velocity has very little to do with raising or lowering POI.

What does work is lighter projectile shoots lower, heavier shoots higher.
