Winchester '66's & '73's

So calibers not withstanding, the difference between the 66 and the 73 is a solid metal frame and the lever lock safety.  Not careful with the 66  you can fire out of battery.

Which do I have, neither, I shoot a Marlin 1894CB, but I would love a '73.

Get real, the .45 Colt was a pistol round until some 20 years ago. The original 1873 Winchesters were chambered in .44 WCF, .38 WCF and .32 WCF
