Installed my Lee Shaver sights today and it was pretty easy.  Even though Lee's instructions stated that the Miroku barrel had large ways and he recommended gluing his front sight in with red Loctite, mine was very close to .375 so I had to reduce the size of the dovetail a bit to install it.  Everything came out great.

Willy,

Good lookin' rifle...of course I may be bit prejudiced ...

My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

WWE, yes, I love your rolling block too. ;D

I'm going out in the back yard tomorrow morning and going to try to sight it in a bit.

Willy,

I have this friend ... actually he is my friend and my retired FFL dealer ... any way, he has a Quigbly Sharpes in .45-110 (he says he doesn't shoot it much cause it has a tendency to knock his fillings loose ...LOL).

Anyway ,he is meeting me at the local range sometime in January ... and since I don't have a spotting scope or any idea (well, I have a little) of what I should be doing, I am just going to follow his lead ...

One thing I have heard from more than one Buffalo guy is to take a book to write down your settings in ... not ony thifs first time, but every time ....
