Does anyone know where I can locate a pattern for early type wooly chaps?
Canvas or leather backing??  Also a reasonably priced source of angora hides?

Thank you

Hey Raymo
As you have seen on the e-mail I have send you several days ago, I have made some of theses oldtime wooly chaps. The fur parts are canvas lined. the back part of the chaps is leather, as shotguns.
I have 4 different patterns of different styles.
The best thing to make your own pattern is to by a old pair of woolies and take all the parts from them. That is the way I did it. It is may be unpossible to built a pair of woolies just with the patterns... You need to know how to put them together, and that is difficult.... If you have a old pair of chaps you will see all the details and you can learn from the old artists as well.

On my miniatures you might see some details.

So long
