I have a Spencer for sale I bought in 2006 in 44 Russian. It had the same feeding problems encountered with this caliber. I polished the right extractor and slightly rounded the inside edge. Other rough edges were polished and it feeds smoothly without any issues.

A front sling mount was added and some epoxy was put under the sling mount to ensure a tight fit. There are some rub marks on the top of the barrel in front of the sight. The carbine has approximately 300 rounds through it.

I bought the carbine as a plinker (I did use it in the 2 CAS matches I participated in before the feeding issues were addressed) but I decided I want a Spencer in 56-50. I have to sell it to finance the new Spencer. Two Flints agreed to allow me to post it here before I put it on Gunbroker.

The asking price is $800.00 plus shipping to your FFL.

I had issues posting photo's and asked Two Flints to add then for me.

Bead Swinger:

I load 8 in the tube. When I first started loading for it I could get 9, but the bullets were seated too deep in the brass and it did not load well. When I got the bullet depth correct for the carbine, only 8 would load.

I like the 44 Russian cartridge and this is a great plinker. I also shoot an 1872 with the 44 Russian cartridges. I just want a Spencer in 50 cal.
