Here is a pix of mine. (had it about 3 years.) It is the gun on the bottom. Top gun real Colt. They are virtually identical in pretty much every way. Debbie of EMF was kinda upset with me for taking off the white grips but I just felt that gun was screaming for a set of real Colt grips. Bob Shaw (RIP) installed them for me....

I am considering the construction of the Paladin rig.  The wife of one of my fellow shooters makes "bullet splat" jewery.  She collects interesting bullets that have been splatted on the steel then she makes a mold and makes silver jewelry from it...bullets makes very interesting earrings....    anyway she is interested in doing a solid silver Paladin Chess Knight for the holster.  I will keep you posted as to what the costs would be for the chess knight.
