Norinco 1897 problem......!!!!

I bought a new Norinco 1897 shotgun. I saw a few videos and I have the Gunsmithing Dis-assembly manual.  I get all the appropriate screws out and all the pins that I'm supposed to remove...........But darn if I can't get that carrier out!

I tried everything. Even removed the trigger group and it simply won't fall free.

Am I missing something or is there a trick I don't know?

I'm trying to get it apart so I can have at it with my India stones to smooth it out a bit.
