Guys I am building some concealed carry holsters. Is there some where that I can buy the hard plastic paddle that fits inside the pants? If not I am left to make it from some stiff leather. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks :)

Thanks a bunch LoneRider, I started to post that these sort of things were custom made but I see I would have been wrong.  Your a handy guy to have around.   ;)

Thanks Lone Ranger, I did find that site last night and it was the only one so far that I could find the paddle with.

Excuse me for the misquote Mr. LoneRider. I did order a couple of the paddles today, will let you guys know how they work.

LoneRider

You're welcome. I found it by accident. Who would look at a website called Knifekits for holster stuff???

Yes that was weird, google for holster stuff and come up with a knife making website. They shipped today and should have them tomorrow.

That'll work great for an OWB paddle holster, but for IWB I use the Tandy black anodized holster clips and a piece of rawhide glued and sewn around the edges to a piece of 5 to 6 oz. horsehide on the pants side and a piece of deerhide on the skin side (my skin that is). Its real comfortable if you first mold the rawhide to your body before assembling the rig.
I will no longer respond to the rants of the small minded that want to sling mud rather than discuss in an adult manner.

Now that is a good idea Bugs, don't know why I didn't think of rawhide..

Thanks for that link, LoneRider!
I too have been asked to make a paddle type holster, and other than making it out of very thick leather, was at a loss.
