I'm proud to say yes, he is mine.

I'm also proud to say that I shoot at a club (The Berger Sharpshooters) that encourages him and makes him feel like "one of the guys."

We all need to be doing more to encourage young families to participate. Your making memories that boy will treasure for life.

Pancho, how old is biscuit? He is one fine young shooter and certainly one to be proud of.

I wish we had more of those youngsters shooting. When I was his size we couldn't wait to get out and shoot with our parents, nowadays kids want to do it on a video game.

He's 8.

The key I've found with kids his age: Once they get the opportunity to SAFELY fire real firearms, they find that experience much more enjoyable to "pretend" shooting on a video game. I regularly get both of my kids out to target shoot. They often bring friends. At the end of a shooting session, I always ask, "Was that better than the XBOX?" They always answer "yes."
