two holsters to show

Hi All
iv'e just finished two holster and thought i would let you all have a look.

the first is a flap holster made for the remington 1858 this was my first flap holster and i would like to thank all members that gave me advice and pattern help. many thanks.

the second is also a first for me it's a copy of a texas pattern shoulder holster from packing iron page 155, i realy enjoyed doing this one and i was very happy with the way it came out.

AWESOME work on both holsters.

I do have a question on the first one (shoulder holster) you have pictured...I just have to know; how wide are the straps that go around the waiste for this holster?  Looks very thin, but comfy.

Hi Slickshot
sorry for the slow reply i haven't been on for a bit, the strap is 1/2"  it was an educated guess from the photo in the book
