Modifying a veiner

I haven't done any metal-work before. What's the best way to cut away half of a veiner?
I have a Dremel. If there's an attachment, which would it be?

How about a bench grinder?

or, belt sander, or file, depending on what you have.

A cut-off wheel on your Dremel should work.
Just make sure to put on the safety glasses! Those things will throw some nasty little slivers of metal at ya.
