This is O.T., I know but I can't help myself.
Title of this thread reminds me of something that has puzzled me my entire adult life. Here in MD, dredging chicken parts in flour and egg, then pan frying them, is called Maryland-style. So when you're in a beanery, you'll sometimes see the menu offering half a chicken, fried Maryland-style. Except dang near every one of them says, "Maryland Half-Fried Chicken." Who'd want to eat that?
