Major 2

I'm not all that  :)

But Steel Horse Bailey, Bill Proctor and Dave Hollenwourth sure make a Cracker feel special.

SHB has hooked up with me for three days and we paled around at the Indy 500 track yesterday.
Today I was invited by OCB to see a screening of "Kansas Moon" you guys are gonna like it !
Trap, and Doc Bob shine, no wait, Trap had a hat on  ;D

Dave was there, great to meet these fellows and Bill made some fine Elk chile for lunch which I enjoyed,
and saw some of his Art....a real nice day

Major,

Sounds like your having a great time.  I bet the weather is a bit cooler and drier than here too.

cooler yes..dry no

course what they call rain is a light mist compaired to frog drowning T-storms we get down there,.
Last Tues was about 74 all day...since then in the 60's  :)  I like it !

Course, work in Orlando & Atlanta has been calling "can you bid this" or "the metal you ordered was not delivered"
or "what branch has this or that !" geeeeeeeeeeee's

then again I'm not on vacation,  well... ::) maybe just a little  ;)

I just called it rain... that is the technical term, after all.  I'm glad that you weren't around for any of the gully-washers we get with those fun-loving tornadoes.  But I DO unnerstan' Florida weather and the rain we get here IS often MUCH milder.
:D

We  had a great time, didn't we?!!  And Bill's elk chili leaves me hungry for MUCH more!  I was especially glad that the Track was in use by those great-sounding cars while we visited.  The place is in use MUCH more than the 3 or 4 races held there.  They have always got tires to test, engines to run and settings to check and I can't remember ANY nice day I've been there when you couldn't hear/see some car out on the track, even if alone.  It makes the $5 museum fee pretty reasonable, IMHO!
;D

Roger, I hope to see you at the Convention!  (I saw in a post that you have your room already, and I THINK I have a place to stay as well, so it looks like health and world events may be the determining factor now!)

I hope you found plenty of Hoosier Hospitality ... see ya later!
