I picked up a Lyman 310 tool and a set of .38 Spl dies, but I must be doing something wrong. When I neck size my cases they are bending to one side. My reloads are coming out looking like bananas.

Any suggestions?

Only reason I can think of something like that happening is if you don't have the "shellholder?" I guess that's the name for that part, like a bushing that fits inside the handles.

Sorry about the blurry one, it's a pic of the bushing and screw removed. Another possibility could be a wrong size bushing, It should be marked as a"1", and fit fairly snug on the case.

It seems that unless you get the handles as well most used sets don't include this part and it disappears with the handles. I have a swag of 45/70s to load this week on my 310 set.
All my cowboy gun's calibres start with a 4! It's gotta be big bore and whomp some!

I think some of the older handles didn't use a removable one. I have an older one with 30-06 dies that doesn't have it.
