LazyK Pejay

Just joined CAS and I am looking forward to reading and learning. I hunt on my best friends 3,000 acre high fenced ranch near Jacksboro, TX. I hunt turkey (Mossberg 835) and hogs (Rem 700 BDl 30-06), and a coyote when I see one. I just bought the Uberti Cattleman 45 cal. I will get a belt and holster soon. It will be for snakes and the hog that just won't give it up.

I am on the faculty at Texas Tech and live in Amarillo.

I hope all of you have a great weekend...

Howdy pard and welcome to town.

Find a cowboy action shooting club near your spread and try that .45 on some clanging steel. I bet your fellow Texans here in town will guide you to one.

Howdy and welcome to CAS City, LazyK Pejay!

Is your first name pronounced "Lay-zee-kay" or "Lay-zeek" (like the optical surgery?)

Does your last name have anything to do with pajamas?

Ever curious,
:D

Good mornin'

In brands a Lazy K is a K laying on it's side usually with the flat side down and the legs up. (K) is from my last name. "Pejay" comes from the first letter of the first and middle name (PJ). Tne "Pejay" was part my flying nickname while in the military "PJ," was painted on the visor of my flight helmit. I just thought back then I would spell it Pejay when writing family and friends. I was a Marine Captain and flew Huey gunships in Nam for a couple of tours. Thx for the posts all...enjoy your Sunday.

:D Welcome in Town, Pard. Enjoy your time inhere.

Thanks, LazyK!

Another pard around these parts did a similar thing to create his Alias. He's known as Arcey. Watch out for him he's a troublemaker (and a friend).

Howdy Lazy K, and welcome to the fire. I live in Amarillo also, just a little north of town. Give me a holler some time and we can go to the range and shoot. I belong to the CRR but haven't shot in a while due to 2 knee surgery's which are doing great now.
Plan on going to a shoot in Sept.
