Any ideas on what type of Hodgdon or IMR  rifle / pistol powder would be good for door prizes?

+1 on the Trailboss. I think most of us use it for Krag loads.

Except it doesn't work worth a darn in .45/70gov for long range. For short range it works in everything I've tried .50/70 and down.

I will be donating an 1861 Ames Naval cutlass with scabbard and frog as a prize.
Since resigning my Navy commission I find I just don't lead that many boarding parties anymore . . .
