I saw an add that showed a Factory made 58 Remington .45 Colt Conversion being sold by Taylors.  Anyone have one of these or shot one with Black Powder?
Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.

I have one of the first ones...in fact the very one Tuolomme Lawman based his Gun Test on.
Which I'll PM to you ....

It is the Forged Frame Conversion and shoots very well .... it will shoot Black Dawg factory loads ( only BP loads I've tried in it )
I can't say it will do a whole day ( say 6-8 stages ) cause as a mater of course I sprayed it with Break free after 3 but
only because of habit... it was still cycling.
I use Gibbs lube on the Cyl. pin when reasasembling after cleaning.

when planets align...do the deal !

I tested the .45 Colt model some time ago and I own one in .44-40.
